Kansas Christian College is excited to announce the newest additions to their athletic programs. Beginning in the 2023-2024 school year, the college will add three new sports: women's flag football, men's golf, and women's golf. The addition of these three new athletic programs brings the athletic department to a total of 13 varsity sports. Kansas Christian College began athletics in 2016.

Women's flag football has seen exponential growth throughout the country at the collegiate level after being sponsored by the National Football League (NFL) and becoming an official sport at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) level. Athletic Director Jaime Cuellar signed off on the new athletic programs saying, "Women's flag football is the fastest growing college sport right now and we're pleased to be a part of that. Men's and women's golf will also add to the development of our athletic department. It's exciting to see how our athletic programs continue to grow and provide more opportunities in this community."

An announcement on the hiring of the head coaches for each of these three new programs will be made in the future. The college anticipates having full teams for competition entering the 2023-2024 school years and recruitment for these programs will begin immediately.

Kansas Christian College President Chad Pollard is also pleased with the new additions, "We believe the addition of these athletic programs will provide many more students the opportunity to receive a Christ-centered education. We look forward to welcoming students into these programs who love to compete and want to pursue the best that God has for them in all aspects of their lives."
